Meet Our Team
Shelly - Dental Hygienist
Shelly is a Registered Dental Hygienist and has been with our office since July of 2016. She received her Associate in Applied Science degree at Coastal Carolina Community College in Jacksonville, NC in 1993. She began her career over 20 years ago as the hygienist for her hometown dentist, where she developed close relationships and helped her community maintain healthy smiles. She moved to Asheboro from the east coast in 2014. Shelly’s experience and consideration for each patient is evident through her concern and dedication for their dental needs, as well as their general well-being. When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and grandson. She has 2 cats, Boston and Billy.
AnnMarie - DA II
AnnMarie is a Dental Assistant II and has been with our office since December of 2016. Her favorite part of being an assistant is watching the before and after transformation of our patients appearance and the confidence it gives them. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and animals.
Logan - DA II
Logan is a Dental Assistant II and has been with our office since October of 2014. She enjoys meeting and getting to know patients and helping return their confidence with a restored smile. While not working, Logan enjoys reading and spending time with her family and her dog, Daisy.
Heather - DA II
Heather is a Dental Assistant II and has been with Dr. Phillips since July of 2006. She enjoys helping patients feel more comfortable about making difficult decisions that will ultimately give them a more beautiful and healthy smile. She enjoys spending time with her family, dogs, and horses. She has been an avid equestrian for over 30 years and loves competing in dressage.
Mary - Treatment Coordinator
Mary started with our office in 2010 and since that time she has played many roles; starting as a dental assistant, then scheduling coordinator, before moving into her current role as our treatment coordinator. Being treatment coordinator enables her to help patients achieve their desired dental outcome and that is what she enjoys most. When not at work, she can be found spending time with her family.
Amy - Patient Coordinator
Amy is our patient coordinator and started with our office in November of 2018. She creates a welcoming atmosphere the moment you walk through the door and helps to make your experience the best possible. Amy has worked in dentistry for over 20 years and enjoys the diversity of prosthodontics…no two smiles are the same. While away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her family.
